How to pass the time

This weekend on our way to Jason's parent's house we were stuck in several traffic jams, and somehow after realizing we had been passing multiple out-of-state plates we began playing the License Plate Game.

In a matter of about 100 miles round-trip we saw about 50 plates from the following states:

Nevada

Indiana

Iowa

California

Texas (the most popular of the plates)

New Mexico

Florida

Ohio

Louisiana

Wyoming

Arizona

Oregon

Illinois

Kansas

Missouri

Utah

Michigan

Montana

Oklahoma

North Carolina

South Carolina

Nebraska

Idaho

In addition we also saw plates from Canada and Mexico, so we rounded out North America on one quick car ride.

...yes we really did start keeping track by writing them down. I don't think I have ever seen so many different plates - must be summer road-trip weekend!
